Osha Bianco is a healing practitioner with formal qualifications and experience in Craniosacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release and Counselling. Osha studied with The Upledger Institute of New Zealand completing Craniosacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release levels I and II in both. Osha combines these qualifications and competencies with a Diploma in Counselling and all-encompassing experience in providing emotional and practical support for young children and at risk youth. As an Integral Healing Facilitator here at Stable Hearts, Osha’s intrinsic professionalism, warmth and gentleness is deeply appreciated by all the Equine, Animals and Humans she connects with.

 

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

CST is a method that connects into a rhythm within the craniosacral system incorporating the bones of the cranium (or head), the sacrum, the spinal column, cerebral spinal fluid, and all the soft tissue connected to the spine.  CST roots are in osteopathy and the method is celebrated for it's gentle noninvasive approach to health and wellness for horses (animals) and humans of all ages. In the early 1900’s an American cranial osteopath (William Sutherland), discovered he could influence the way he felt physically and emotionally by placing pressure on the bones and cerebrospinal fluid in the cranium, spine and sacrum.
